6.3-magnitude quake shakes Indonesia’s central Sulawesi province

According to several reports, a 6.3-magnitude earthquake shook Indonesia’s central Sulawesi province around 5:40 pm Saturday. Initial reports indicated that at least three people were injured with several buildings sustaining damage.

Residents said the quake lasted for less than 30 seconds.

The US Geological Service said the depth of the quake was 12 miles.
