In a recent article, Aron Heller with AP, says that “Israeli Judaic scholar Menachem Cohen” has been on a mission which will correct all known textual errors in Jewish scripture to produce a truly definitive edition of the Old Testament.”

Cohen said the majority of his time has been dealing with what he believes are grammatical problems and biblical symbols but none of the corrections alter the stories or meanings within the text. Relying mainly on the more than 1,000 year old Aleppo Codex, Cohen said he has identified at least 1,500 inaccuracies in the manuscripts.

The last revision of the Hebrew Bible was in the early 1500’s by Jacob Ben-Hayim.
